The iM600 sports a distinctive thin and elegant glossy-black look. A spring-loaded button deploys the speaker's stand and reveals the iPod dock, power button, and volume controls. Your iPod perches front and center, resting at an angle to display the current track information and album art while recharging. If your iPod model has the alarm clock and sleep timer features, they will work seamlessly with the iM600. Various docking adapters are included, making the iM600 compatible with most iPods. After reading the previous reviews I decided to buy this system...I am very happy with the performance and the quality of the sound, the only downside is that it does not charge the ipod touch or iphone. Its not a big deal as the battery life on the ipod is enough to give me lots of hours once fully charged. I really like the ability to unplug and move it around, it goes all over our house. The biggest compliment is that my wife...who isn't normally impressed with my electronic stuff really likes it. I actually took it on my Christmas trip and it was a "blast". The radio adds a nice touch to it as well

Great Ipod Portable Speaker for the Price January 7, 2009

I just recently got this as a Christmas gift and while there are probably better speakers out there, this one is pretty damn good for the price. I love the fact that it's portable with a strong battery. You can literally pick it up and travel with it room to room with ease. The sound is very good (not great), with some music played through the Ipod you will get a little distortion (could be the song though) but overall I would have to give sound quality a B+. If your looking for an inexpensive but very good sounding speaker to play your Ipod on and portability is important to you, I would completely recommend this product!

Great little iPod radio....well worth the money. My only complaints are: no AM reception, and when you turn on the radio with the remote the ipod doesnt turn on with it. VERY good sound quality and with 5 or so hours of battery life its great to use anywhere

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend...he loves it! The sound quality is excellent for this price point. I wouldn't expect it to fill a huge space, but it does a nice job in an average size living room. Another nice feature to this sound dock is the tuner...a great little bonus. He's actually thinking of buying a second one for his office.
