Antec TP3-650W w/ 3 12V Rails December 24, 2008

My PC is a Gateway GT5656 model. Several months ago I updated video cards, and always suspected the power supply that came with the Gateway was insufficient (it was only 300 watts). I ordered this power supply on Black Friday after Thanksgiving (in 2008. It was on sale for $54 (currently $87)). To make a long story short, I was having some serious issues because of the old power supply. It got to the point that Windows would only boot in safe mode (regular Windows would load as a black screen).
Once this started happening I installed the new Antec power supply, and everything has been running great for 2-3 weeks now. My video card has a 'supplemental power' connection that my old power supply didn't even have a connector for. This one does. I'm able to keep my video settings turned up all the way now, and no problems. Overall, great power supply as far as I can tell. Quiet too!

Hola quiero saber antes de comprar si esta Fuente Antec le serviria a mi VGA Nvidia 9800GX2 que tiene una entrada de alimentacion de 8pin PCIE ,, necesito saber si tiene conector PCI-E 6+2 ??

This power supply was much better that what came in my case. It has enough connectors to connect every thing to and still have several extras.

Antec TP3-650 ATX 12V 650W Power Supply with Three 12V RailsWas shipped securely,well packaged and protected,Delivered when the vendor said it would be.Mounted to case easily.Each set of wires are in their own sheath or cover.Easy to keep the lines separated.Makes for a clean looking interior.Haven't had any issues with this unit.Runs very quiet.Has all the connections i need for 2 graphic cards,3 sata drives and motherboard connections.Has two case fan only plugs that helps control speed of these fans,also has a connection to monitor the fan on the power supply.These help make it quiet.Very good product.
