I was anxious to receive my fire pit, but disappointed when there were no assembly instructions with it--hope I got it together correctly, even though I had left-over screws and nuts. Also, I assumed the cover came with it (not). Otherwise, a nice-looking unit. No drainage holes on the bottom, so a cover is especially important.
Great Frieplace! Made my outdoor space feel like part of my home! February 23, 2008 SummerFun (Cambridge, MA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
First of all this is not the easiest thing to put together, but once you do it is well worth the effort. I've spent countless nights last summer and fall hanging out with friends and family around this fireplace. It's a great size and even has a cover to protect it during the winter, so I didn't have to take it back inside.
Very nice product October 21, 2006 Al (Chicago, IL) 29 out of 29 found this review helpful
I bought this from Target and it was an end-of-season clearance item AND an open box item so I got quite the deal, which was the reason I went ahead and purchased it. I used it three times this season and had no problem with it. I like the two doors on each side that easily open. You can either open them and they lean back at about a 45 degree angle or you can easily remove them all together. The unit seems that it is built well, yet it is still light enough for one person to move on their own. I would say you can brun 4-5 decent size logs in it at a time. I also like the fact that it is open in all directions...sides and above. Good product.
