This was a Christmas gift that I used on a 10 day campout where I stayed in a screened cabin with no power. I used it for a ceiling light and fan that I hung from the rafters. While packing up, I hung the light from my pocket. This was too much for the plastic carabiner which broke. Luckily there are two screws that released it and I replaced it with a standard aluminum 'biner I had laying around. I am now trying to think of a light-weight carrying case to avoid damage in the future and the loss of the magnet pieces. It is too bulky for backpacking, so I call it a car camping item.
