I remember before our baby son was born last January doing tons of research on what the most gentle laundry detergent out there was. A lot of people on parenting sites were giving kudos to Country Save because it washes residue-free so I decided to order some. Our baby had no adverse reaction to it and his clothes were clean and fresh after every wash. I couldn't detect any residue.

Well, it turns out that a couple months later in March I had a terrible skin reaction with another laundry detergent so the dermatologist told me to use a "free and clear" version so I decided to wash my under garments in Country Save and I haven't had a problem since. The thing I love most about this detergent is that with so many loads of laundry with a baby each week, two boxes have lasted almost an entire year. It's super high efficiency which means you don't have to use a lot of it to clean your clothes and honestly, I don't miss the fragrances or scents at all since both baby and myself currently have healthy skin. It's great to see I can purchase this on Amazon now as originally, I had to call the seller directly. Love the convenience!

I've used bulk detergents like Sun to more common detergents like Tide and found that Country Save doesn't have too much of a lingering smell and leaves the clothes really clean. I received some used baby clothes and they had some stains on it that seemed to be permanant. After washing it in Country Save, the stains faded and the color of the clothes seemed to be a brighter white. I have yet to try this out on other loads of clothes but so far so good. One thing that I wish they had was a little measuring cup for me. I used my mothers front loader machine and will try it out on my top loading machine to check out if there are any differences. I didn't bother dissolving the powder but might just do that for the top loader. When you receive the case of detergent, it will be very heavy! When I opened the case, the boxes had powder on them. There doesn't seem to be any damage to them but it is a bit messy when pulling it out. Nothing that a wipe cloth cannot clean. After finishing up with our other detergent, I think I'll be moving onto this detergent for the family.

This was recommended to me for use with my cloth diapers and I love it. I occassionally use it for cothes as well and it works great! No flowery scents left on my daughters clothes. It also does not irritate her very sensitive skin!

Our laundry is really, really clean! We purchased this product for our son's cloth diapers, and since we had to purchase so much, we decided to try it on the rest of our laundry too. We won't go back to other detergents. After washing my first load of non-diapers, I compared the towels washed in Country Save to those washed with our regular detergent (ERA), and the one washed in Country Save was SO much brighter and cleaner looking! This detergent is also great for the cloth diapers. Our son has eczema, and this detergent does not irritate it. Probably part of why this detergent works so well for us is that we have hard water and Country Save leaves very little build-up or residue with our water type. I would recommend it to anyone who uses cloth diapers, has eczema or has hard water!
