Soap is probably one of the most significant inventions or substances ever created by man. The earliest known occurrences of soap date back at least three thousand years! And likely more than any other product, soap has been most directly responsible for greater health and hygiene and has contributed to longer life expectancy while minimizing the spread of disease. What's even better is that natural, home-made glycerin soaps smell and feel wonderful and do not have the harshness of store bought commercially produced soaps. In this video, Jeny will take the viewer through the fun and more interesting aspects of melt and pour glycerin soap crafting and then demonstrate the process of making cold-process soap from commonly available, inexpensive ingredients for your personal use. Jeny will also show you her techniques to customize these high-quality soaps for gift giving and will also explore the commercial possibilities of producing soap as a for profit business. Jeny is the talented entrepreneur behind Jeny Rose Creations and Countryside Natural Soaps. Her soaps and related bath products have been sold in numerous retail outlets including the Made in Oregon stores, casinos, gift shops and mail-order. The DVD runtime is approximately 1 hour, 44 minutes with topics broken down into chapters for easy step by step, follow along instructions showing how to make, decorate, finish and market both melt and pour and cold-process soaps for fun or profit. There is Additional Bonus Material on the DVD containing printable mini-manual and other text and web based information.

Well put together visual instructions and this, together with my soapmaking book will give me all I need to start making soap.

The dvdwas fine but in the program there was a book mentioned that that was supposed to be included with the dvd and it wasn't.
