Pros:
- Atomic clock is self-adjusting and self-correcting. The only time it will be wrong is if it is low in battery or if the clock is broken.
- Large digital display is much easier to read
- Battery last for a long time. I have not change the battery for over a year now.
- Shows the month and date as well as day
- Shows temperature inside the house

Room for Improvement:
- Contrast between the display and the background is poor.
- Limited viewing angle

I purchased these clocks for their thermometers. They were mounted inside on the window frame to indicate the incoming air temp. If the incoming air went above 75 degrees, I switched to A/C. Both units failed in less than 6 months. I replaced them with Sonalerts, attached to thermostats. I added an LM555 timer; so, they only beep once every 2 minutes.

The clock sets itself - a real plus if it is in a hard-to-reach spot - and is easy to read from a distance. I like having the indoor temperature displayed as well. All the numbers are large and easy to read at a glance. This is my third Sky Scan clock. The others are working fine. I needed a clock at work and was delighted to find that Sky Scan clocks are still available.

This atomic clock is a great item. I set all of my clocks and watches by it. It is easy to read across the room and I use the day and date features all of the time. I like checking the temperature also. My VCR taping has improved immensely since I have the time set "perfectly" now. It is the best clock I've ever owned.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS THE BEST ATOMIC CLOCK EVER MADE. THE EASE OF USE IS FAR SUPERIOR TO OTHER ATOMIC CLOCKS. WE NOW HAVE 4 OF THESE CLOCKS IN OUR HOUSE, GARAGE AND GRANNY FLAT. I CAN'T IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT A SKY SCAN.
