Product Description Perfect for when you're at home or visiting friends, this basket gives your infant a comfy cradle for sleeping. And when Baby outgrows the Moses Basket, use it to store stuffed animals or linens. It can even be used as a bed for dolls or small pets!A charming hood shades your baby, and is removable when not in use. Hood attaches securely with Velcro. Basket includes a mattress pad, white sheet and soft bumper/liner made with waffle fabric trimmed with white satin piping. A soft polyester fill pads the poly/cotton bumper for cushiony comfort. The liner is removable and can be machine-washed and tumbled dry. Basket can be used until Baby weighs approximately 15 pounds, or until Baby can push up or roll over unassisted. Always place it on a firm, flat surface; and never near the fireplace or open flames. Do not carry the basket with your baby in it. Measures approximately 30.5"L x 17"W x 18"H. Basket is 6" deep in the middle.

Customer Reviews Read 4 more reviews... Bad craftsmanship June 7, 2008 L (portland)
Just saw this in the store, reached for it happily - it's a nice simple design compared to all the frilly bassinets - and then my smiles ended...the basket itself is shoddy, not firm, and I wouldn't trust carrying it around with a load of laundry, never mind my baby! I saw of the few places the bumper was tied to the basket that one was broken, and I pulled lightly on another tie - poof! broke off. A newborn would have same strength, and you'd find the newborn with the bumper pad over him/her. I thought the product was very dangerous, and it made me angry that such poor craftsmanship is being sold for newborns.
Moses Basket April 5, 2008 Letta Meinen (Salado, Texas USA)
I ordered this when my great grandson came to Texas for a visit. His parents were coming for a wedding but I would have a time when they were visitng my home. They would need a small basket for him to rest in as he was only seven months old. This was such a cute Moses basket with a green check lining and soft pad. This was also so reasonable and I will have it available when any more new great grandbabies come to visit.

I bought this when my daughter was a couple weeks old. I had a hard time getting her to nap/sleep anywhere except my arms, but she did nap many times in this adorable basket. The only con I would say is that the handles are pointless, and I never used the hood. Now at 4 months old she's probably too big for it but we've been using it as a one-stop place for toys, diapers, ointments, burp cloths, etc. etc. It is VERY cute no matter how you use it!
Cheaply made basket shouldn't be called a Moses basket September 20, 2007 R. Reese (Pittsburgh, PA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Got this as a shower gift from my mom. I'd picked it out based on the info I derived from the internet, and returned it as soon as it came in the mail. Shoddy craftsmanship all around, from the flimsy material the basket itself is made from to the ill-fitting "fitted" sheet and the loose material and shoddy sewing on the bumper. In addition, I guess it's buyer beware for things that aren't spelled out explicitly--this Moses basket comes with a warning NOT to use the handles or even move the basket while the baby is inside. That's specifically WHY I wanted a moses basket to begin with--so that I could carry the basket from room to room without having to wake the baby up. Save yourself the hassle and skip this cheaply made basket. I was wondering why it was priced significantly lower than the other baskets--now I know.
Very Handy! September 11, 2007 Lindsey L. Clements (Seattle) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this as an alternative to our swing for our newest addition to the family. Unlike her big sister, our new little one hates the swing with an absolute passion! This Moses Basket, however, she lays in and is actually content! It's wonderfully convenient and pretty, to boot! I'd definitely recommend this to any of my friends.
