I bought this hat for a two-week trip to India. I wore it everyday and it kept the sun off my face and my head cool.

The hat is fine, but the order form did not disclose that a size of 8 in this instance meant 8 plus; a hat much larger than 8 with a velcro strap to adjust it down in a clunky manner. This came through a Partner store, but the size choices on Amazon were misleading.

I admired this hat while fishing with my Canadian sister and she gave me the story of how the hat was guaranteed for life and skin specialists recommended it for sun shade and it was constructed so beautifully with even a secret pocket and hat band and under chin band if you needed them. I am very happy with it.

I love my Tilley LTM6 Airflo hat. I wish I had bought one years ago.

The Tilly Airflo hat is the perfect all-purpose hat; it always looks good no matter how mashed and crunched in a suitcase (it springs right back) and it
contains a pocket for carrying identification and a little cash. It has adjustable strings for keeping it from flying away, and which tuck away when not needed. Also washable and quick drying. Get this: when/if it wears out, you can get a new one free if you register it. I have two and carry them everywhere. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
