I have purchased six of these cuties for several nieces, nephews, and most recently, as a baby shower gift. They're adorable. They make the perfect night light for those children (of all ages!) who aren't quite ready for the dark of night. At six inches, they're actually a little larger than they appear in the picture. They're soft and cuddly on the outside, and with one touch of their belly (which makes my nephews giggle), the peaceful glow begins. I would recommend these for anyone looking for that perfect gift!

My three year old Eliza recently began going to bed by herself at night and was feeling afraid even though we had a night light plugged in near her bed. Last month I introduced her "Beddy Bear" and she has been mesmerized by it ever since. With a little tap on its belly she can turn the light on whenever she wants, and then fall asleep watching it gently change colors from pink to green to blue and purple. The only drawback is that sometimes she falls asleep with it on and I have to remember to come in and turn it off. It runs on three double AA batteries and so far I have not had to replace them .
