How to takeCromolyn Sodium (Gastrocrom)?
UseCromolyn Sodium (Gastrocrom)exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Cromolyn sodium is not a rescue medicine. It will not work fast enough to treat an asthma attack.Use only a fast acting inhalation medicine for an asthma attack. Tell your doctor if it seems like your asthma medications don't work as well.
To use the solution with anebulizer:
- Break open the ampule and empty the medicine into the chamber of the nebulizer. Attach the mouthpiece or face mask, then attach the drug chamber to the compressor.
- Sit upright in a comfortable position. Place the mouthpiece into your mouth or put on the face mask, covering your nose and mouth. Turn on the compressor.

- Clean the nebulizer after each use. Follow the cleaning directions that came with your nebulizer.

我t may take several weeks before your symptoms improve. Keep using the medication as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks of using cromolyn sodium.
You should not stop using this medicine suddenly.Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse.
