Hydrocodone is a narcotic cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.

Chlorpheniramine, hydrocodone, and phenylephrine may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

不要use this medicine if you have used an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days.A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and others.

To make sure this medicine is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have:

- enlarged prostate and urination problems.

Side Effects

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine will affect you. Dizziness or severe drowsiness can cause falls or other accidents.
