What Mental Toughness Has Looked Like at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games

Mental toughness isn’t about winning; it’s about resilience and the ability to take any outcome in stride.

With so many standout gold-medal moments at the Olympics, it’s easy to forget an important truth: Most athletes who compete don’t win.

But during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, top athletes showed us that not winning can make for standout moments, too. Mental health experts say these examples of弹力andmental toughness, even in the face of tough losses, are important.
