the book ends are very cute and my daughter loved them. The problem is that they are made out of light wood and do not hold up any books. My daughter uses them as a toy/decoration in her room.

Yes, they are sooo cute! Have you ever seen such a grin on a bee? I ordered these to go in my daughter's room. Let me tell you they're cuter in person if you can believe that. The problem really only arises if you are foolish enough to attempt using these bee "bookends" as bookends. They are incredibly light with no traction for holding to a shelf, which means that any book or books you put between their cute little bee butts will knock 'em right over, spilling your books and, in our case, chipping the wood on the "bookend". I hate to give such a negative review to such a cute item, but that's the straight buzz.
