First off, this is a TOY DRILL, not a real one. So if someone at Amazon could recatagorize this item correctly, it would end confusion for power drill buyers and parents alike.

My son loves this toy drill. Its look and feel are very realistic, and the sound is satisfyingly loud (from a toddler's POV) without being annoying. I took the detachable plastic drill bits away immediately and put them aside; I was afraid he'd poke his eyes out. He was too busy fixating on the spinning drill chuck -- it lights up when it spins!

I bought this at Target b/c it was around $[...].

Theo Klein is a terrific resource for realistic toys -- if you're not into talking screeching yelling cartoon character based toys making you and your toddlers deaf...try this one out.
