I love this bag. Everything about it screams quality. I hated the idea of going to a backpack to hold my stuff, but I thought I might have to, until I found this bag. Most people will only have a camera w/lens, and either two spare lenses or a lens and a flash. I am able to put my D40 with the huge 18-200 and hood in the center section. Then on one side I have a 10.5mm and a 50mm together, with one of them wrapped in a handkerchief. On the other side I have a flash and neckstrap. Now the 10.5mm and the 50mm are both pretty compact little lenses, so your mileage may vary in getting two larger lenses on one side. It's very well padded and fashionable, with plenty of pockets. I have some spare cards, a reader, some filters and a microfiber in the front pouch with plenty more room to spare.
Great look and quality but a bit small. November 16, 2008 David Smith (Cashmere, WA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this bag to hold my Nikon D80, Flash, and one extra lens along with filters, batteries, memory cards, etc. It was a bit too small and everything was very tight once packed. Also, it had a bit of a 'purse' look to it. Upgraded to the 6 Million Dollar Home. Would be great for someone who doesn't plan to carry much other than the camera and maybe one lens or a flash with them.
Typical Crumpler quality; great bag November 9, 2008 M. ANNE (california)
I got this so I could carry my XSi with lens along with me wherever I go. Works great. Bag is big enough to also carry my wallet, keys, lipstick, etc, with no problem. This high quality bag doesn't look like a camera bag; it is well padded and an easy way to be sure I don't miss any more photos because I was on my way to work, on quick trip to supermarket, etc. This is very well made, with a lot of detailing like mesh pockets, quality fasteners, nice strap, etc; I find the price very fair for the quality of the bag. You will not wear this one out & can use it for more than just hauling that camera along with you. The color is a good neutral without being that boring black. Crumpler makes imaginative, useful bags of all types. I highly recommend the Million Dollar series.
My Perfect Bag November 7, 2008 Thea C. Robson (VT Mtns)
Sorry Amazon, but bought this at a local camera store the day before a trip to FL - if I had more time I would have bought it here for less. Was printing out pics to share with family, thinking about the sorry state of my practical daily handbag (messenger type) and how I wished I had time to find another before flying ... and realized I was looking right at it. The strap is long and adjustable so I can sling it across my body, the big velcro closure means it closes securely - no one gets in Momma's handbag without me knowing! Have removed one of the padded velcro dividers and the other is shoved to the side so my bulky wallet stands up and is easy access. The little pockets by the straps mean I can grab for my cellphone on one side, key ring in the other without digging thru the bag. The zip mesh pocket in the cover holds quite a bit, there's a discrete little pocket in the front for holding necessities, and the bulk of the bag outside of where I stash my wallet easily holds a book, my PDA, a water bottle, hairbrush, a small toiletry bag, snacks for a plane ride, my digital camera and more all at once. GREAT bag - and definitely not just for cameras!
it's pretty good October 22, 2008 S. Lee (VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's good for small cameras and if you don't have too many extra lenses. I could fit my XT w/ the stock lens and an extra 50 mm lens (which is really tiny) as well as extra things like the strap, the battery charger, extra CF cards, and a point & shoot camera.
