We've had this tea set for about 6 years now. My daughters, ages 8, 6 and 2 play with it all the time. And it still looks brand new! It is simple, well made, pretty, and all the pieces fit back into the teapot easily.
Stickers on a teapot set?? August 9, 2007 Helene (Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Another reviewer here said, "Unfortunately the company used paper stickers instead of the waterproof ones, so if your little ones want to put water or cookies into play, expect damage to the stickers." I wish I had seen this comment before buying this product. Yes, the tea set is pretty to look at, for a while, and fun to play with for my 3-year-old. She completely loved it, until she saw the princess stickers disappear. Surely, my daughter cannot be the only child who wants to use water for this kind of play, pretending it is tea or coffee? Also, the first thing I do upon purchasing a toy for my child is -- to wash it! It makes no sense whatsoever to use stickers on a product such as this. After the stickers start to peel off, the tea set looks unattractive and cheap.
Well made pieces! February 12, 2007 I. Chu-Ha 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This set is very well made for kids, beautiful colors and charaters. My niece loves it and she invites everybody to her tea party!
my 3 yr old's favorite birthday gift November 18, 2006 Brenda Radder 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
A friend got this for my 3 yr old daughter and it has been a real winner! She loves to play tea party with her dolls, brother, grandma....whoever will play with her. It's' been so great and what I think I love the best is that it is self contained. It all goes back into the giant teapot, no mess, no lost pieces. Gotta love that!!!! We have a birthday party to attend for a little girl in my daughter's preschool class next week and this is what we are giving her. We love it that much.
Perfectly priced and so much fun! November 16, 2006 Barbara Millet (Belle Harbor, NY USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My two daughters fight over this tea set. I'm not going to buy another set to end the fighting, but it's tempting. The Princess' are on the dishes are bowls, etc. Unfortunately the company used paper stickers instead of the waterproof ones, so if your little ones want to put water or cookies into play, expect damage to the stickers. Everything does fit into the teapot canister... BUT... you have to stack them in groups or they won't fit. My older daughter knows to do this, the little one gets frustrated. Overall, a wonderful gift that we've had for many years and we use it almost daily! Makes a great gift.
