Great Scale For The Money February 27, 2008 S. Lamb (Nashville, TN USA)
This truly is a great scale for the money. As with most products, it isn't perfect but it's close enough. Well worth the purchase!
Not certain just how good this thing really is. February 25, 2008 Richard L. Metz (Bellevue, NE USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Although it is supposed to be a "talking" scale, mine is silent. Also, the "owner's manual or guide" is nothing more than a one-sheet piece of paper. Finally, the instruction sheet says that it holds the weight for several seconds. Mine doesn't do that, either. So, the thing will have to go to the warranty shop in Phoenix. By the way, make sure you get an original receipt because the warranty repair site requires you to have it. The scale is nice and light, and provide a large surface on which to stand. I only wish it worked as promised.
Off by close to 2%, not the advertised 1% January 17, 2008 James B. (Columbus, OH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought the claim of weighing "within 1%" was pretty good, even though for a 200 pound person that could mean the scales would be off by 2 POUNDS up or down, more for heavier folks. In my case, it was off by double that based on weigh-ins at Weight Watchers, and I trust the Weight Watchers scales far more than this waste of money. I wish I hadn't bought it. Maybe I can ditch it on eBay.
Nice scale with one small drawback... November 8, 2007 Michael W. Crochet (Baton Rouge, Louisiana United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A nice scale that performs very well, but tends to be a big-time battery hog. Batteries need to be replaced after about 30-40 uses, and AA's aren't getting any cheaper. Otherwise, it's a fine product.
