I was hoping to punch holes in mylar (thick transparent film), but the tool is not sharp enough to go through. I know that is not what it was designed for, so not their fault.

I received this product in the mail today and have already used it on two belts. I don't know about more heavy-duty items, but for run-of-the-mill leather belts it is very economical. The seller Anytime Tools is prompt and great as well. The packaging also suggests use for rubber, plastic, fiber, and felt. Very useful little tool.

I have recently had lap-ban surgery and my jeans are falling off. I have plenty of belts, needed a way to make them smaller. This item is made for that. Love this a hole punch for leather. No home should be without it. Works on making belts bigger too, but I won't use it for that.

This is a simple leather hole punch that can do the job without any problem.
