We just got this doll for our daughter's 1st birthday and haven't been able to test it out too much so I feel my review may seem unfair. We have high hopes that Baby Stella will be with us for a long time
Great Doll October 26, 2008 Sue (Ladera Ranch, CA United States)
I gave this doll to my 15 month old daughter when her brother was born and she was only mildly interested. But now at 18 months, she's rediscovered the doll. She loves to put the pacifier in her mouth and give her the magnetic bottle (separate set). It's very cute how she imitates how Mom and Dad take care of her little brother. A friend gave her a doll with a plastic face that makes a crying noise, but she much prefers Baby Stella. Baby Stella's body is a little firmer and heavier than I expected, but it's not really a problem.
Baby Stella Rocks! October 21, 2008 S. Warner (Texas, USA)
I have purchased two of these dolls for presents. The quality is awesome and the feel of the doll is great. I love the pacifier that is magnetic! Wonderful present for any child.
Darling baby doll! Very well made. October 12, 2008 C. Britt (Coconut Creek, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Like all of her toys, I always remove them from the packaging to check for loose strings, choking hazards, durability, etc. Plus, it avoids the annoyance of having to spend tons of time getting the toy out of the package once she sees it and gets excited. LOL This doll is very well made. The body part is stuffed with beanbag type stuffing, and the arms and legs seem to be stuffed with typical soft stuffing. The belly button is indeed adorable, and the headband is stitched on in two places, which for the younger children is good. I'm sure it could be removed if pulled hard enough, but oh well. The pacifier stays on well and the outfit seems to be very well made and is a nice thick material. The bottom velcros open and closed so your daughter can change her diaper without taking off the whole outfit. My mom bought her the feeding set and diapering set. I have only seen those in the packaging but they are equally as adorable and appear to be well made. I bought her the sleep and snuggle set as well which is nice. Overall, this baby is definitely recommended, as are the accessories I have seen thus far. Stella kind of reminds me of the Pottery Barn Kids baby dolls, only cuter and less expensive. Plus, there are TONS of adorable accessories.
First Big Baby Doll September 29, 2008 Lauren A. Watson (Athens, GA)
Got this for my daughter as her first more real like baby doll. I still wanted something soft rather than hard since she is just one and this fit the bill. She really loves the magnetic mouth.
