I picked this particular stool because of its size but also because the fabric pictured was a neutral color. When it arrived the fabric was completely different. I did not return it because the size was what I wanted and I liked the storage feature for magazines. I was just displeased about the color difference and the fact that the description did not mention a possibility of a different color (or the option to select a color upon purhcase.)

Finally - an old fashioned footstool that suits my mother-in-law. She's very short and most all of the footstools in the stores are too tall. This one is only 9-10" high and even has storage when you lift up the top - perfect for knitting/needles. The tapestry covering is understated although wouldn't match all decor.
